World War 1 US RFK Gas Mask in immaculate condition! I will try to describe the condition as best as I can but please refer to the pictures for greater details. Starting at the top, the facepiece is still soft and supple with the inner rubber facepiece intact and not cracking or flaking, the internal noseclamp and mouthpiece are still there and in working order. One of the head harness straps has snapped but can be easily sewn back. The hose is soft and supple as well and not collapsed as is often seen in masks these old. Unfortunately the flutter valve is missing which is common with WWI pieces. The filter has a tiny bit of rust but most of the paint is still present. Overall, this is one of the best WWI masks I have had the privilege of owning. Unfortunately the carrier is missing but a replacement can easily be found online.
