Up for sale with is a top quality Antique Birks Sterling Silver Sugar Shaker or Muffineer. The Shaker is a top quality example with great Georgian Period form but would actually date more to around 1920. The Shaker also features a finely pierced lid. The Shaker is overall in really excellent condition with no dents, cracks or repairs and features a great Original Family Monogram that I believe reads S.C.. The Shaker displays very nicely and is a great size for use measuring 6-3/4" tall by 2" wide across the base. The Castor has a quality weight of 115 grams and is one of the nicer Birks examples I have sold recently. Muffineers were designed for dusting pastries with icing sugar but they are also very popular for use with body powder on a dressing table. This would make a lovely Birthday or AnniversaryGift for someone special or for yourself :)
