ITEM DESCRIPTION

This saleis for a stunning antique Meissen porcelain tea caddy.

Dating to the Marcolini period, later 18thC.

Beautifully painted with putti and flowers.

Measures 10.4cm tall.

Marcolini period mark to the underside, crossed swords with star, slightly feint but easily distinguished.

Excellent condition, very clean and bright - small firing flake to the underside of one corner of the base, a few tiny pin head kiln glaze bubbles to the shoulder again done in the firing process - see pic 3 & 4.
