Up for sale with is a very fine quality Antique English Sterling Silver Calling Card Case. The Case is beautifully etched throughout and of a fabulous Envelope form with a ring and chain handle. The Case is much more beautiful in real life and is one of the finest quality examples I have seen. The Case measures approx 3-3/4" long by 2-1/2" wide by 1/8 of an inch thick, perfect for carrying Debit and Credit or Business Cards. The Case is fully Hallmarked for the fine Period Silversmiths Adie & Lovekin Ltd, Chester England, Sterling Silver and the Date Letter for 1912. The Case is in excellent condition throughout with no dents, cracks or repairs, features a fine sturdy hinge an snaps closed nicely. The Case also has a quality weight of 57 grams and has a nice original owner monogram of an "R" on the reverse.
