As awesome as it can get, and from our private collection we offer for sale this very fineTurkish Pala saber dating 1122 = 1710 wearing a powerful deeply curved and finely forged from top quality wootz with rarest and highly desirable contrast pattern known as “Turkish Ribbon." The blade of traditional form having aT-section spine and massive raised striking area with a strike point highlighted in goldkoftgarywork as well as several more areas of the spine and having fine gold inlaid cartouches on both sides of the upper and the lower blade. Beautiful silver work over steel on crossguard and both sides of the scabbard. No wear to the gold or silver. Large crossguard and hilt mounts are fully intact with lovely horn grips of traditional bulbous pommel style. The blade fits the scabbard perfectly and the entire sword is solid and in battle ready condition.This large 300+ year sword is in 100% original and mint condition with no evidence of restoration.
