Very Nice Early German Pioneer Bayonet 98/05 For Sale

This is a nice example of an early German Pioneer Bayonet S98/05 Sawback. It is mounted with a blade that measures 14 7/16 inches in length which remains in very nice condition with some minor surface stains and blemishes. The blade is also well marked "ERFURT" on one side of the ricasso as well as is dated "06" along the spine. The wooden grips remain sturdy and in very nice condition with the spring in good working order. The crossguard is well marked "11.P.3.188.". The leather scabbard remains very healthy as well with all the stitching still tightly intact and does wear the matching unit number on the throat fitting. Overall, the Bayonet measures 19 11/16 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this sale)
