Very Nice Indo Persian Small Tulwar Sword 19th Century:
This is a gorgeous example of a well made small sized, possibly child's, Indian Tulwar Sword which dates from the mid to late 19th Century. It is mounted with a magnificent WOOTZ blade that measures 22 3/4 inches in length. The blade remains in superb, original condition with only minor surface staining and wonderfully boasts a beautiful pattern in its metal. The solid hilt is adorned with an engraved floral motif and continues to wear 99% of the original bright gold wash. The stunning wooden scabbard is covered in brilliant royal blue felt that is enhanced with equally handsome detailed fittings that continue to wear most of their original bright gold wash as well. Overall measuring 28 inches in length. (please note other items shown as props are not included in this sale)
