VERY NICE RUSSIAN SOVIET COSSACK SHASHKA SWORD:

This is a nice example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1881. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 31 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition and continues to wear very nice markings as well as is dated 1945. The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that is healthy and wears beautiful brass fittings with a pommel which is nicely engraved. The wooden scabbard is steel and brass fitted and also remains healthy and in very nice serviceable condition. Overall measuring 38 1/4 inches in length.
