Very Nice Steinite Laboratories Glass Enclosed Crystal Radio All Original For Sale
You are offerding on a Steinite crystal radio made by Steinite laboratories Atchison Kansas. This radio is all original with original glass enclosed detector which many times have been changed and has the original decal on the front which is usually gone on these radios. It is 8 1/2" wide and 7 1/2" deep and about 4" tall. It does have the crystal inside the glass and is nice inside with a rather unusual tuning mechanism. The tuning mechanism opens and closes 2 plates. I have never seen that on a crystal radio before. The only flaw I can find are a few very small chips along the edge of the bakelite panel. The worst onesare just above the Steinite decal and you should be able to see them. Possibly could have been how they cut the plate at the factory, I just dont know. That is about the only flaw I can find on the whole radio except it is kind of dirty but the dirt goes with the radio. Any questions please email me.
