NOW THE ONLY THING THAT`S GOT ME PUZZLED IS THERE IS A DATE ON THE LEFT LOWER FRONT THAT LOOKS TO BE NUMBERS THAT READS 1238 IS THAT POSSIBLE? IF IT IS THIS LOCK PLATE IS VERY RARE AND VERY OLD?{ THE LOCK PLATE SEEMS TO WORK FOR ME } I CANT TELL YOU IF ITS MISSING ANY PARTS.IT MEASURES IN LENGTH JUST LESS THAN 5 1/2 AND THE HEIGHT IS 3 1/4 THAT HOLDS THE FLINT. YOU BE THE JUDGE OF HOW OLD IT IS A DON`T CLAIM TO KNOW THIS ERA. THIS CAME OUT OF A VERY OLD COLLECTION FROM THE ST.
