VERY RARE Vintage Austrian? German? Wax Easter Egg with 3D scene:

This very old egg is spectacular! It features a scene within in the egg of a girl and boy ( German Austrian?) looking over their 2 rabbits among the spring blossoms. The backgrouns of trees is dried ferns. The egg is in pretty great shape. there are minor marks and scratches on the outer part of the egg. It\'s wax andeasilymarked. but also easily smoothed with the right warmth and know how. The boy has come undone from the base. A person who is crafty could remove the front cover and attach him. This is not something I would try! But if it is sitting on a shelf, it really doesn\'t matter because he stands fine with a few gentle shakes. A very small fine crack on the egg\'srightside along the silver colored trim.
This is a very rare item. I couldn\'t find ANYthing like it in my limited research. Would make a great gift for a collector.
