VERY RARE - Amethyst Purple SATIN GLASS Lrg Shoe Slipper Victorian Rose Mosser:

This is a rare beauty!It is done in Amethyst Satin Glass and is just stunning! The glass is a clear deep purple and has the smooth acid-satin finish. Only a few were made.This slipper has been retired and is becoming quite hard to find - especially in the purple satin glass!The pattern is called Victorian Rose. It is beautiful with embossed flowers pressed into the glass on the sides and even a curved toe, similar to court jester\'s shoes from bye gone years! This is a larger toothpick or match holder. Stands 3\" tall and is 6\" long. I believe these slippers were also used as ashtrays in fancy settings! New and in mint condition. An excellent example of hand made pressed glass.
