Very Rare Effanbee Mary Jane Composition Doll 19-1/2" Made In 1917-1923 For Sale

Welcome to Greyhound Rescue Mom's sale~~~I have a rare find for your consideration. Mary Jane, by Effanbee was made in 1922. She is a very hard to run across. Mary Jane has the Effanbee logo on her neck and her back. She is 19.5" tall.Her precious face just has some crazing, mostly on right cheek. She has a sweet dark red mohair wig (don't know if original, but very old). Her crown pate looks original. (her head will be stuffed for shipping). Mary Jane has a very pale complexion and cute blue tin blinking eyes! Her sweet smile shows about 5 upper teeth. Her head turns nicely for cute poses. Her composition ball jointed body is AMAZING condition for it's age!!! Arms, legs and head are just a little loose, but nothing is hanging off in need of repair. Her right compo thigh has some writing with 3 letters and numbers (I couldn't get a clear picture of it). Her wrists turn, she has some crazing on hands and perhaps a good finger Jane's darling dress and apron top are old and so cute - a gentle wash would be perfect! She has antique panties, antique socks (one sock shoes it's age) her cream color shoes may be originals. I did not remove the shoes because I did not want to chance ruining them.
