Up for the sale is VERY RARE ITALIAN GERMAN MADE MODEL 1833 SWORD SCHNITZLER & KIRSCHBAUM SOLINGEN, INVESTMENT GRADE CONDITION, as mint as 150 year old sword can be. Rock solid, no movements, no lose parts anywhere. M1833 arguably the best Italian sword design of 19th century and was in use during the First (1848-1849), Second (1859) and Third Italian War of Independence. SCHNITZLER & KIRSCHBAUM of SOLINGEN also had contracted with U.S. Ordnance in 1839 for many patterns of cavalry swords.
