Victorian Handwritten Physiology Book-sketches, Diagrams, Half Leather Binding:
This is what appears to be a handwritten book on Physiology, although I am unable to ascertain for sure whether it is original or printed, as in some places it looks printed and in others it appears original. There are also several sections where words have been written over again, causing darker writing in places, and some of the writing is quite faint in otherplaces, so if it is original maybe it was where the pen or pencil was running out. There is nothing to suggest that it is a publication either, as there is no title page, although the title panel to spine has physiology embossed in gilt lettering. The name John W. Rutherford isinscripted in ink three time to the inner board and one of theprelims, so I am assuming this is who wrote this works on physiology. It is bound in half green leather fine binding, with five raised bands to the spine, there is gilt line decoration to the spine also, and red leather title panel/compartment to second panel. Each right hand side of page is filled with entries, diagrams, sketches etc, and all left side of pages are blank. Containing 280 pages which as stated are all full, with dimensions to the binding of 11" x 9" x 1.2" thick, and it weighs almost 1.5kg unpacked.Refund is accepted if item is not as described or you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, with no questions asked.Insurance is automatically included in UK postage and overseas shipping costs.
