Victorian Reed Barton Silver Plate East Lake Covered Sugar Tea Caddy With Roses:
$102

Up for sale is a lovely over sized covered sugar by Reed and Barton in an Eastlake pattern with etched roses which I believe is from c1860, the time of our Civil War. The covered sugar is over sized standing about 9.5 inches tall and 7.75 inches wide measuring at the widest point across the handle. It features an Eastlake design just below the rim and over sized tall stately feet. There are no monograms or repairs and the silver plate is lovely as shown in the pictures. The inside is very clean and usable. The pattern number is 2875 so you should be able to verify the date of production using the mark.
