Here we have a beautiful set of Cased Victorian Sterling Silver Fish Servers.

Hallmarked: London 1896

Maker: G M J for Josiah Williams & Co - George Maudsley Jackson.

This stunning set which is completely Solid Silver, has wonderful engravings of Foliage with ornate pierced work to both pieces.

The decoration continues up the shaft of the handles to an Acanthus leaf top with a blank cartouch.

Both having a zig-zag boarder with wiggle work.

A really good gauge of Silver.

3 tiny marks to the silver Fork, please see photo, nothing that spoils this set.

Comes complete in their own leather and gilt case.

There is some wear to the velvet lining but this just shows that they have been used and truly need to be used once more.

Weighing in at approx:

231 grams without the case.

Measurements:

Fish Slice: 12 1/4 inches or 311 mm long

Fish Fork: 9 inches or 228 mm long
