large quantity of American made marbles were found while demolishing an old barn. I don't have any knowledge of marbles so I had these looked at by a local antique dealer. He told me that these are all American made, dated circa 1940-1970, and most likely from several different makers. There are no longer ANY marble manufacturers left in America (sad but true). The quantity found suggests that these are uncirculated marbles that were most likely bought in bulk directly from the factories. The collection includes all sizes from pee-wee to over 1" and styles from clearies, cat's eyes, solids, swirls, etc. These marbles were stored in open buckets so they are dirty and will need to be cleaned. They clean up very nicely...to keep the price down, I leave that up to you. I am selling these marbles in bulk by the pound. Your offer is for 1 pound of assorted marbles.
