The ring is hallmarked as follows: Crown and 18 indicates that it was hallmarked prior to
1975 and the number 18 indicates that it is 18 carat gold ( 75% pure gold).
The anchor indicates that it was assayed in Birmingham. I cannot read the extremely faint
(almost unreadable letter) representing the year the ring was made.There is a clear maker\'s mark but I do not know whose initials they are. A jeweler may be
able to solve this issue.
The ring size is about 7 1/2

Picture 8 shows a tiny mark encircling the ring band on the left outer edge. It\'s hardly noticable and the area is completely smooth but I wanted to mention it.
