The serial number 191811 stamped on the top of the headstock dates this
Washburn's manufacture to about 1900. The style number 123 is stamped
above the serial number.With bookmatched Brazilian rosewood back and sides and Adirondack spruce
top. Intricate inlaid MOP fret markers with scrimshaw detail.Polished Gabon ebony fretboard with relatively minimal wear and frets in same
condition. Action is 5/32" at the 12th fret high and low "E". Has a very woody, well
seasoned tone and is fun to play. Reverse gear, Waverly tuners function nicely - the "D" tuner shaft is slightly bent.
Aged bone bridge pins and endpin. Original ebony nut is in nice shape.There are cracks on the top as shown in the pictures. Long finish checking on the back
and some on the sides but no cracks in the wood. Nicks, dings, and scrapes throughout.
Some of the binding is worn especially on the treble side of the neck and a 2" section at
the butt end. The paper Washburn label is missing from the inside. Please see all the
pictures for a good idea of the guitar's condition.This is not a pristine closet queen but is a nice player with a dignified pedigree. There is no case. .Payment due within 3 days of sale end please. Shipping within continental U.S.
