VINTAGE 1920'S PARLOR GUITAR Here's a vintage 1920's parlor guitar that looks to be Regal made but there are no labels, serial numbers, or brands. It has a solid Cherry top, back, and sides with nice ebonized pyramid bridge and bone saddle. The reverse gear tuners work well. The frets and fretboard show some wear but are, generally, in very good shape.Action measures 5/32" at the 12th fret. The neck angle is not bad. Very playable up the entire neck with no fret buzz or fretting out. The back of the neck looks nice with no capo wear. This guitar has a very warm and bluesy sound-the tonewoods have aged nicely. There are cracks on the front and back-please see pictures. There are also some waves in the wood on the top and back as well as general wear to the finishes. There is evidence of a tailpiece having been on the guitar at some point. This is not a pristine closet queen-more like a rib shack, honky tonk blues box.13 1/4" (34 cm) across lower bout, 9" (23 cm) across upper. 24 1/4" (616 mm) scale. 37" (94 cm) long. String spread at saddle is 2 5/8" (67 mm). There is no case. .Payment due within 3 days of sale end please. Shipping via UPS Ground within the continental U.S and USPS Priority Mail everywhere else.
