standingpilot Store VINTAGE 1920'S SUPERTONE BY HARMONY
What a nicely preserved parlor guitar this is. A solid mahogany bodied Supertone
by Harmony with very little wear. The neck is very straight and the neck angle looks great-action is about 5/32"
at the 12th fret both high and low"E". The tone is bright with a fretwire saddle
and the snap of mahogany. Very little evidence of play with minor wear to the paint on the sides of the
fretboard and some small blemishes to the finishes.Frets and fretboard look pristine. There is a 1/2" crack up by the neck heel-please
see picture. Fretboard shows a little lateral shrinkage but hardly noticeable. Some
small gaps around the neck heel from wood shrinkage. Strung with light gauge silk and steel strings but is stout enough to handle regular
light gauge steels. The shiny chrome tailpiece can take the pressure and the neck is
firmly anchored to the body.12 3/4" wide at the lower bout and about 37" long. 24 1/4" scale and string spread of
2 5/8" at the saddle.Sorry, there is no case. .Payment due within 3 days of sale end please. I will ship via UPS Ground to the continental
U.S. USPS Priority Mail everywhere else.
