VINTAGE AMBER GLOBE GLASS FRUIT JAR-AMBER LID-10 1/2\"-8. First to say, I am not a bottle dealer, that will become evident. Will do my best to describe what I see, this jar is amber in color and the raised area on bottom has red in it. Measures 10 1/2\" to top of metal closure, 4 1/4\" across bottom. Does have a glass amber lid which has a chip on under side edge, it looks to be smoothed out. The rubber seal, I would not know if it is original, but is good. The metal close works just great and what rust is present has been there forever and does not rub off. Patent May 25, 1886 and has an 8 on bottom with what I believe is an S. Perhaps a half gallon?
