The town focuses on the underlying concept of ecology and architecture working together to create an ideal Environment for living and working. Born in Italy Paolo Soleri has a background in architecture and was the person behind the vision for the town of Arcosanti.DESCRIPTIONThis listing is for two (2) vintage Paolo Soleri Cosanti art pottery trivet tiles. One tile is square in shape and one is rectangular in shape. Both tiles carry identical blue gray surface glazing and Modernist impressed designs.One corner of each tile carries the square impressed Soleri signature mark. The bottom of each trivet carries four round cork feet to protect surfaces from the bottoms of the tiles.CONDITIONBoth of these Soleri art pottery tile trivets are in wonderful condition. The hand thrown and glazed tiles are free of any signs of damage such as chips, cracks, flea bites, and repairs. The round cork feet are all intact and in wonderful condition. These two trivet tiles have come from a smoke free estate collection and are odor free.~SHIPPING COSTS~ This sale item will be shipped to you via USPS Priority Mail with full insurance. Your item will be packaged appropriately with tissue paper, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam peanuts. After packaging the shipping box weighs 2 pounds 5 ounces.
