FANTASTIC HANDMADE VINTAGE MID CENTURY STUDIO ART GLASS VASE
THIS GLASS IS VERY THICK AND IN A DEEP PURPLE - ALMOST LOOKS BLACK UNTIL YOU SEE IT IN THE LIGHT
THE PIECE HAS APPLIED UNDULATING LOOPED HANDLES ON EITHER SIDE OF THE MOUTH AND THE BODY HAS APPLIED ROPING OF WOUND GLASS - THE BASE HAS ETCHING MARKS BUT NOT SIGNED AND THE WHOLE PIECE HAS ALMOST AND ACID TYPE OF FINISH WHERE IT LOOKS ALMOST LIKE A WHITE MATTE FROSTING - NOT SURE OF THE TECHNIQUE

Condition: two areas on body of vase and on top of right looped handle area where it appears to be missing a piece of the applied glass but edges are smooth for the most part so can\'t tell if it was maybe just part of the design but noting it - not even something really noticeable due to the uneven and ornate nature of the design of the vase itself - see images - sold \"as is\" and zoom pictures
