VINTAGE BLUE JOHN MALACHITE STERLING SILVER DOUBLE SIDED PENDANT LOCKET NECKLACE:

This is a truly stunning pendant. It is double sided and features a specimen cabochon of rare Blue John on one side and vibrant green malachite on the other, both wonderful natural stones which have been carefully chosen. The full UK hallmarks inside are for Sheffield assay and with makers initials RP for Robert Platnaeur. The pendant hangs on its original heavy 22” chain. The sides of the pendant are chased and the best part is it opens up and can be used as a locket for a photo or keepsake. It’s a good large size and both pendant and chain weigh an excellent 27.4g approx. It is a rare find and is in superb condition for a vintage item with no damage.
