VINTAGE BRASS TELESCOPE IN LEATHER CASE
The lovely period 3 draw telescope is by 'Broadhurst Clarkson & Co.Ltd'.
The lenses are intact and relatively clean.
The sections extend smoothly and are still quite tight.
There are first two draw sections are in good condition with only a few very minor marks.
The 3rd/largest draw section has quite a few dents, but as previously mentioned still slides in and out without any problem. This telescope comes with the original leather strap and end caps.
The leather has a wonderful patina, and a degree of scuffing and scratches.
The strap is quite dry and would benefit from a feed of leather cream.
The stitching is in good order. The telescope measures approx. 10.25 inches closed and 31inches extended (with caps off).
It is approx. 2 inches in diameter along the main body.PLEASE NOTE: This is a vintage item, not a new telescope and as such has wear and marks in keeping with age.
Use the above photos to determine condition and I am happy to answer any questions you have.
