Vintage C. Mamoli Wooden Model Ship Hobby Kit-u.s.s. Constitution-1:93 Scale-new For Sale
Up for sale is a Vintage C. Mamoli Wooden Model Ship Hobby Kit - U.S.S. Constitution "Old Ironsides" - 1:93 Scale - New in the Box. This wooden model kit was designed in 1982 and was most likely produced the following year, if not sooner. If you can take a moment to look at photo #10, you will notice that one page of the model ship's blueprints has been hand-signed by the original designer. This Mamoli model boat kit is new condition with all of the parts still sealed in the original plastic packaging. None of the packaging has ever been opened. The exterior packaging (outer box) does have a few minor issues. There is a water stain or moisture ring on the top, left side of the lid. Also on the lid surface, one corner was separated and there was a small area where the cardboard had gotten pushed through on the top, right-hand side of the box top.. Unfortunately, the stain on the lid cannot be remedied. I did, however, put some clear packing tape over the other blemishes.to protect those areas from further damage. Let me assure you the internal contents of this hobby kit are complete have not been damaged in any way. The model's components are mint. It was only the lid that suffered damage and that damage is very minor. When fully assembled, this model ship will measure 26" / 667 mm tall and 39" / 973 mm long. Unassembled, the box measures 29 3/8" long, 3" wide and 10 1/8" front to back. I know you are going to love this vintage C. Mamoli - U.S.S. Constitution Wooden Model Kit.
