Here we have a reallywonderful 1st issue 1966 Corgi Rocket Firing Batmobile in Matte with box, 7 rockets and some inserts.

This Batmobile is the 1st issue in Matte and it is100% originalwith Batman, Robin, rocket launcher, chain cutter and pulsating exhaust flames.

It is the "Red Hubs" version having rubber tires with tread on sidewalls andred bat logos on gold rims.

This Batmobile has yellow headlights,aquawindshields, longer tail fin tips, two recessed bat nostrils and a silver aerial.

The paint on this car is in super condition as it only has a few small nicks and no scratches.

One of the longer tail fin tips is broken off and the other has a fracture.

The wheels still retain the red bat logos and the tires have perfect tread and are marked "CORGI TOYS".

The goldhas worn off two wheels, there are remnants on the third and one is perfect.

The rocket launcher works perfect and there are 7 loose rockets to go with it.

The chain cutter works perfect, folds smoothlyand locks.The housing for the chain cutter is a "short slot".

The exhaust flames pulsate in and out perfectly as the car is moved.

All four windshields are present with two chips near Robin's head anda few on the edge of shield in front of Robin.

There is a tiny hairline in the windshield behind Batman and it is only noticeable if looking for it.

The car interior is in super clean and the Batman & Robin figures are close to perfect.

Interior has theair craft- type steering wheel, batphone, fire extinguisher, orange seats and the chromeis perfect on the dashboard.

The silver ariel, gold beacon, and radar on hood are allpresent andin nice condition.

The chrome is nice on the rocket launcher but there is a nick from box wear on the top of the center tube.

The suspension isnice in the front but slightly tired in the outer box is in okay condition with wonderful period graphics; howeverit is missing one flap.

It is marked on oneside "CORGI TOYS" "National Periodical Publications Inc. 1966" "DIE-CAST SCALE MODELS" "PLAYCRAFT TOYS LTD *LONDON" "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN".

Marked on the front and back are"ROCKET FIRING BATMOBILE With BATMAN and ROBIN" "267".

On the other side is "OPERATING TRIPLE ROCKET TUBES, CHAIN SLASHER BLADE, TURBINE JET EXHAUST, SPRING SUSPENSION" "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" "DIE-CAST SCALE MODELS" "PLAYCRAFT TOYS LTD * LONDON".

The colors are still super vibrant and it retains its shape but there are some creases and slight sagging.

The remaining side flap has a crossed out price inblack marker.

Everything in the photos is included in this sale including the operating instructions, special features leaflet and parts of the inner box.

The operating instructions are inblack withlight purple graphics and the colors are still bright & vibrant.

These instructionsare marked "1966", "No. 23994","Gt. Britain"and there are no rips or tares. Model club card is not filled out.

The special features leaflet has a fold and it is curling on thebottom.

The parts of the inner box included are the graphic picture of Robin and write up of "BATMAN With ROBIN TheBoy Wonder".
