Vintage East Anatolian Turkish Van Hakkari Kilim (around Lake Van) in great Condition, Recently he washed and ready to Decorate. A very nice example dating to the 1940\'ies. Depicting the famous \"Elibelinde\" hands on the hips pattern. Throughout. Beautiful Vegetable dyes, including , indigo and baby blue, Yellow, Madder Red, a great Green, Apricot, Browns. Please note that all the patterns have an outline around, which makes them distinct. The Ivory border softens the overall Palette and makes a nice contrast, the same Ivory is picked up in the Inner field. Some areas are gilded, which is characteristic for this area. Also note that the meeting line of the border and the Innerfield is made with the \"Slit\" technique. Not the oldest, but definitely one of the nicer ones.
