VINTAGE HALCYON DAYS ENAMELLED CIRCULAR BOX ~ MRS DELANEY POPPY ~ BRITISH MUSEUM LICENSED

Anenamelled Halcyon Days box of circular form, decorated with a poppy design on a black ground. To the inside of the lid are the words Design inspired by \'Poppy\' Papaver somniferum a \'paper mosaik\' by the 18th - century artist Mrs Delany in the collection of The British Museum.

To the base is marked with the Halcyon Days backstamp and the words The British Museum Licensed.

The enamelled box comes with the original box,leaflet and slip case.

Diameter approximately1 1/2\".

Condition:- IN EXCELLENT, UNDAMAGED CONDITION.
