Vintage Handmade Beaded Easter Ornaments Baskets 7 Pcs. Pink Lavender Sweet For Sale
Offered for sale is a beautiful SET of HANDMADE VINTAGE BEADED Easter ORNAMENTS and BASKETS! When I found this group boxed together at a recent estate sale with meticulous care, it was MORE than apparent that the former owner/creator devoted a great deal of time and attention to detail in these delightful "LABORS OF LOVE". I loved them at first sight and even more so when I examined their construction and staged them for the photographs. They are just darling, whimsical and radiate a retro vintage glow!ALL SEVEN (7) pieces are entirely handmade using clear and colored plastic faceted beads with pearl bead accents. They reminded me of vintage safety pin beaded baskets, but their construction is different and appears to be completed by using a strong cotton cord thread. The overall color palette is PINKS and LAVENDER PURPLES. The dimensional structures are amazing. I give the former creator high marks for design, colors and accent details. These may have been from a vintage kit, but I am uncertain of that. What I am certain of is their adorable display. All of the ornaments have metallic silver hang loops and I will do my very best to do the former owner proud with my detailed description.#1 PINK & CLEAR FACETED PLASTIC BEAD BASKET FLUTED RUFFLED BEADED EDGE measures: 3 1/2" HIGH x 3" WIDE. it is a pretty shade of BRIGHT PINK. The interior of the basket is filled with a fine white papery excelsior "grass". Atop the grass sits a FUCHSIA WOODEN EGG measuring: 1 5/8" x 1" with HANDPAINTED floral motifs. **The egg is not glued in place but sits nestled in the basket. A sprig of small millinery flowers with stamens in LAVENDER are placed near the baskets handle.#2 PURPLE & CLEAR FACETED PLASTIC BEAD BASKET FLUTED RUFFLED BEADED EDGE. **Same pattern and dimensions as previously described above. The interior has the same white papery excelsior "grass" and a GREEN WOODEN EGG with hand carved floral motifs.#3 LIGHT PINK PLASTIC and PEARL BEADED OPEN STANDING EGG that measures: 2 1/2" HIGH x 1 1/2" WIDE on a 1 1/2" DIAMETER footed base. INSIDE the framed opening, sits a little wooden painted BIRD atop a PINK SILK millinery flower nest with a pressed lavender flower accent. The bird and millinery flowers are glued in place.#4 PURPLE LAVENDER PLASTIC with PEARL BEADED OPEN STANDING EGG **with the same dimensions and details as stated above.**#5 CLEAR FACETED BEAD CROSS with SILVER BEAD LOOP TOP and PINK SILK MILLINERY accent with stamens. Measures: 2 1/2" x 1 7/8".#6 & #7 TWO PEARL BEADED BUNNY RABBITS each measuring: 1 5/8" high x 3/4" wide. tiny, tiny googly eyes, pink glass beaded nose and pale blue glass seed beads at the neck.As stated all have tiny SILVER METALLIC HANGING LOOPS but the larger pieces stand independently if you choose to use them in a tabletop display vignette or Easter themed centerpiece.
