Vintage Hip Flask Silver Plate Leather And Crystal Cut Glass For Sale
For sale here is a fine, vintage Hip Flask with top fittings
and base cup in Silver Plate and a crystal glass body half clad in Brown leather. It is
approximately 5 ¾” or 145mm high and 1 ¼” or 30mm wide so a nice discreet size
for pocket or handbag, capacity is stamped on the base as 5/16 pint and the
overall weight is 283 grams. The top is a twist fit and closes well, the inner
cork gives a good seal making the flask watertight. The Silver Plate is in good
condition with no worn areas and a well polished finish, there are no
significant blemishes on the top, the cup has some surface scratching and a
couple of scrapes from use but no dents,, the inside surface is gilded . The glass is good with
no cracks or chips and looks nice and clean, the leather is pretty much perfect
and has a good patina, there are sight openings to check the contents. The base
of the cup and neck is stamped with Made in England, On the cup is stamped 144 and 5/16 Pint, Thankyou
