Designed by Ingeborg Lundin (1921-1971), an artist famous for her "Apple,Face and Melon Vases" and "Hourglass Stemware", this rare and whimsical design was created in 1948. She was an artist who was instrumental in establishing the profile ofScandinavian art that is world renowned today. She was employed as a designer for Orrefors Kosta Boda from 1947-1971, and was awarded the prestigious Lunning Prize in 1954. This is a rare and wonderful find for serious art enthusiasts. Her vases are frequently found in art galleries and museums.
