VINTAGE KREMENTZ ANTIQUE FINISH FAUX OPAL CHOKER and SCREW ON EARRINGS SET:

This is one of those - I am totally clueless. Purchased at an estate sale of an elderly lady, I would date this to probably the 1930\'s or 40\'s. The Choker and the screw on Earrings were in this box but I can not guaranteethat they were made by Krementz since I can not read the mark on the back of the Choker. Nor can I say for certain if it is gold plated or gold filled. I can\'t even tell you for sure what the \'opal\' stones are made of though I do think they are some form ofBakelite due to how they look on the back. Obviously this meant something to someonebecause two of the crystal stones had fallen out and they were kept in the box with the set, so they can be replaced by someone more talented than me.
The Choker is 17\" long, the pendant is2 7/8\"longacross the top of it and 1 1/2\" wide from the top to the bottom of it and is 1\" long at the widestpart. The earrings are 1 1/4\" long x 1 1/8\" wide. A crystal is missing to the right side of the first left side \'opal\' in the necklace and at the bottom of one of the earrings. I find no cracks in the metal but there is some wearing to the gold tone finish that can be seen under close inspection but if anyone is that close to you, they should be nuzzlingyour neck. The box is in rather good condition, still solid, the green felt inside is still pretty clean and is intact and the hinge works well. I will combine shipping when safely possible. Please look at all the pictures since they are considered part of the description.
