This frame has a few bumps of time, there appears that there mayhave been a small repair done at one point, or it just lost some color not sure and there is a scratch at the bottom. I hope that you can see through these small things to what a awesome, handsome frame this is, heavychunky distressed , great quality old mexican. It measures 24 X 28 overall, The molding is 4 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep and there is 1/4 to add to that for the slip band, I have very carefully cleaned the wood and the linen slip band , there is one one little scratch, see picture.
