VINTAGE MADE IN JAPAN LUSTRE GLAZE CHILD'S TEA SET OF THREE PLATES WITH WINDMILL OR HOUSE DESIGNS. These 3 plates are all that remain from my sister's childhood tea set. The teapot and cups are long gone. The larger plate is 3 7/8" and the smaller ones are 3 1/4". The painted designs are adorable, with an orange windmill, houses and trees, on a waterfront, with birds flying over. They are probably from the early 1950's. They are all marked "MADE IN JAPAN". The paint is faint under the glaze in a few places; a manufacturing flaw, I guess. One small plate has a little chip in the rim. It was hard to get the camera lens to focus on it, but it is shown in the photos.
