PAINTING IS OIL ON MASONITE BOARD…MEASURING ABOUT 19 BY 15 INCHES WITHOUT FRAME.
PAINTING DEPICTS A NUDE ON A LARGE ROCK AT THE BEACH.Alfred Koblitz was born in Berlin, Germany. He studied perpective at the academy in Berlin. He married in 1929, moved to Chicago and joined the Chicago Academy in 1933. He exhibited at CAI and his seascapes toured the US. He moved to Springfield, MO in 1955 where he also exhibited his art. I knew Mr. Koblitz for several years, and he gave us the painting as a gift.Thanks for looking
