Up for sale is a vintage patinated spelter elephant standing on a stack of books. It is well done form and has nice texture to the piece with hand painted tusks. Books include Dreams Schreiner, The Tempest Shakespeare, Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Speeches Washington, Midsummer Nights Dream, & Man without a Country. The piece is fairly heavy at 1 lb 6 oz. Circa Pre-1950. Unique collectors piece for elephant lovers and books.Measures 4\" Height x 4\" Width x 3\" Depth.In good vintage condition,
there is a whack or dent to the base on the word Man,
the elephants front right foot is slightly cracking through to the other side,
some type of tarnish near the elephants feet and on his stomach,
