VINTAGE Pre-WWII 1930\'s Red Silk Japanese Iromuji Kimono Great Condition:

Lovely silk iromuji 色無地 (\"single color\") in cardinal red, still beautifully vibrant despite its long history! The simplicity of this kimono is extremely versatile and would look amazing paired with a simple obi for a casual look or a fancier obi for just the right amount of pop. Its gracefully long sleeves are a feature of kimonos from before WWII.

There are no holes, tears, stains, rips, or any other noticeable flaws that I can see, but it is a vintage item, so some wear is to be expected. Basting stitches (white stitches used to secure the pieces of a kimono before cleaning) are still partially leftover, indicating the item may have just been cleaned. They can be removed gently with a scissor.
It\'s obvious that the red dye used on this kimono was once very saturated but due to age has started to fade. However, as you can see from the photos, the red is still quite vibrant and stunning. The red color has more a blue undertone.
The collar is not included with the kimono.
