Vintage "randall Made" Hunting Knife - As Found - Tip Broken - Restorable (?) For Sale
offer -Here is what started out life as a really nice older RANDALL MADE hunting (?) knife with what I believe was at least a 5 1/2" blade. I have no clue as to what the former owner might have been trying to do but this is the result - He didn't even have the courtesy to save the tip. In any event this is what I wound up with. The blade bears the usual Randall Logo followed by an "S" on one side and it is etched "Heller" on the opposite side. With metalurgy as it is today it might be possible to replace the tip or certainly to reshape the blade to a shorter configuration. However, I am absolutely no authority. In any event this is still a great handle for something. Just think of the possibilities! A shifting knob for your vintage sports car - A light switch for your gun room lamp - An exotic coat hanger - The list could go on and on. TERMS: Buyer pays actual shipping costs.
