VINTAGE RARE 1896 OVINGTON BROS T & V LIMOGES FLORENCE RECTANGULAR SERVING DISH:

This is a beautiful vintage Ovington Bro\'s. T & V (Tressemanes and Vogt) Limoges French porcelain rectangular shaped serving bowl. It has a dainty white and green floral pattern on cream colored porcelain that flows into a gold color. It is also trimmed in gold. The floral pattern is repeated inside the dish and on the inside of the lid. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. It does have some gold paint loss around the edges of the bowl (see pictures 4, 5, 6 and 7). There is a slight dark mark on the bottom and I have looked at it through a loupe and can see nothing. I think it is just a slightly dark line in the porcelain (see last picture). It is trimmed in gold and there is just a little gold loss. The dish is 2-3/8\" high, 9-1/2\" long and 7\" wide. The bottom is marked Florence Patd. 28 Oct. 1896 T & V France Ovington Bro\'s France. I believe this pattern is quite rare as I have done research and I have not seen it anywhere. I have three other pieces (including another bowl like this one) of this gorgeous French porcelain and would be happy to combine shipping.
