HERE is a super old VINTAGE SOUVENIR LUGGAGE DECAL PENNANT From ARMY or the US MILITARY ACADEMY IN WEST POINT NEW YORK. Great scene of a couple of Cadets in dress headgear uniform.
It is a paper luggage decal. It\'s original size was 8\" (some of these I am listing have tips missing so current size may be less than 8\"). It is curled some as I have had it sitting out a long time. You can put this in a book for awhile to work out the curl if desired or if you frame it that will take care of it as well.
Top left corner has some damage and tip shows where paper is attached to the back of it and tip is missing a fraction.
Estimated to be from the 1920s or very early 1930s. I got a group of these from several different schools. Some were 6\" and some 8\". One of the 6\" ones was Mississippi A&M (now Mississippi State University) and they were last named A&M in 1932. While this one is 8\", I still believe these were obtained originally by the same person at the same time period.
The back still has the original surface that is typical of these. It may have paper stuck to it in the corner(s). While this may possibly still work or \"adhere\", I cannot assure you of that nor would I recommend you wetting this due to it\'s age. If you absolutely desire to adhere it to some surface I would recommend using a very very very light film of some type of glue.

I ship 99% of these in bubble envelopes and bend/fold them usually only once (if over 14\"). Often there is a fold somewhere already on the pennant, so I fold on the already existing fold.If it is likely to leave a fold mark I stuff tissue paper at the fold to minimize any permanent mark/wrinkle.
