Vintage Rare 1930s Camp Edwards Pennant U. S. Army National Guard Wwii Usaf Otis For SaleHere is a good looking old pennant! Okay - it has seen better days, but this is a nice rare one! This is an early CAMP EDWARDS PENNANT. IT is a FULL SIZED pennant with a great round section of artwork (sewn on leather piece) with a soldier standing guard - note the early uniform. Camp Edwards began in 1938 as a NATIONAL GUARD camp. It was leased by the Army in 1940 as a WWII training camp. After the war, in 1948, the Camp was deactivated (the USAF took over nearby Otis Field - Otis AFB) and Edwards is still used some by the National Guard. My best judgement on the pennant is that this is from the earliest years of Edwards - late 1930s, but it could be early 40s.A Great collectible piece of Vintage Nostalgic AMERICANA!Condition:
Has obvious stains and shows it age and wrinkles. Still a super great looking piece of history! Please see Pic(s)!It is approx. 26" long (excluding tassels, if any).Estimated to be from the 1930s.
A very nice collectible piece for you to display in your home or office.

Note: I sell alot of old
vintage pennants on . Many of
these have folds, pin holes, possible soil marks, or other minor flaws. Assume they are
not perfect and you will be happy with any of them.
If you are unhappy
with any item after receiving it, I offer a full refund.
Please read my condition of the item above. If I describe an issue, such as a tear in the pennant, please do not give negative response and say "there was a tear in the pennant". I know that sounds silly, but I will get emails from time to time where someone is unhappy and when they tell me why I see it was clearly written in my condition section above, but they don't want to hear me tell them that. So I politely explain they can return it for a full refund and they don't want to hear that either. They would rather just complain. I don't know how to fix buyers like that, but if you think you fit in that category please reevaluate your life and become a more positive human being for mankind and especially for those who have to put up with you every day.
If you want to
ask specific questions about the condition before offerding I will
certainly do my best to answer them. If there is something that concerns you in the pics or description, it is always best to ask on the front end.
Also, I ship 99% of these in bubble envelopes and bend/fold them usually only once. Often there is a fold somewhere already on the pennant, so I fold on the already existing fold. If it is likely to leave a fold mark I stuff tissue paper at the fold to minimize any permanent mark/wrinkle.
Thanks for looking and please look at other pennants that I have for sale! I will combine shipping if you let me know before I print the postage. If I have no offers and you are interested in multiple pennants, let me know or make an offer and I will get back to you. Also, if you see one I have had listed awhile in my store, feel free to make an offer. I usually lower the price on any that don't sell every couple of weeks. Please note that any request for a lower price should be "reasonable". It wastes time for both of us for a 50% offer.
