VINTAGE RUSSIAN ‘GZHEL’ PORCELAIN TINY TEAPOT WITH CUPS:

Beautiful \"rooster\' teapots and cups are hand painted in traditional Gzhel style with white and cobalt blue paint. The teapot is approximately 5.5\" tall to the top of the lid and the cups are 2\" tall .

Gzhel is name of the village in Russia where this a style of porcelain pottery was produced for centuries. Stamped with factory mark on the bottom.

These teaset is a part of the large estate collection of Gzhel items from 1970-1980s. Please, see my listings for other pieces.
