A vintage Stitchcraft magazine fromMarch 1938 -an emphasis on children\'s knitting patterns in this one. Includes adelightful embroidery transfer with children\'s/nursery motifs and ideas for using them with instructions. I have shown some of the patterns and contentin the photos below.

I am listing a collection of these vintage Stitchcraft magazines dating back to the very first one in 1932. They are mostly in exceptional condition and stillhave the free transfers inside. These magazines are brilliant for vintage knitting patterns and all contain a good selection of stylish patterns. They also have ideas for embroidery, although some of these would have required sending for a pattern/transfer at the time. However most of them have a free embroidery transfer still inside with ideas for usingand working instructions There are various other homecraft projects and each magazine has a page of cookery recipes. They are also a great source for vintage advertising as they all containlots of fascinating adverts.
