Handle is marked KA-BAR 177 and is a beige or off-white color with a slightly darker striation

Blade is 5/16\" wide, and there is no chipping or pitting; blade is marked KA-BAR on one side and UNION CUTLERY CO., OLEAN, N.Y. on the other side

The box shows some wear, and the back of box has what looks like some light paint splatters; on the front, although it is very faint, it is marked----
