An interesting necklace with a variety of Victorian beads.
At the front of the necklace are nine carved Whitby Jet beads - there are sone irregularities to the reverse of these beads - please see photo. I am not sure what the larger round ribbed beads are made from - they are not Whitby jet and they are not glass - early plastic perhaps or wood or a seed pod??
The remainder of the beads are French Jet (black glass).
The necklace is 32\" long, it has no clasp but fits easily over the head.

For subsequent items purchased I charge an extra £1 postage.

5. All goods are despatched by first class delivery in the UK(unless otherwise stated) and airmail overseas. We find that most UK items are delivered next day, although this is not guaranteed. Standard delivery does not offer any insurance if an item of jewellery is lost. If you would prefer we can send your item on an insured delivery for an additional postage charge, please contact us for a quote.

6. Postage charges are clearly stated and are fixed. Please do not contact us at the end of the sale or upon receipt of the item requesting reduced postage charges. I am afraid that such requests will be denied.
