From label on bottom: \"Ikora Silverplated Tarnish-Resistant hollowware made by world famous WMF. To clean: merely, wipe with a slightly damp cloth.\"Brushed finish interior in the shape of the Star of David (six pointed star) surrounded by an openwork six sided vine design in a highly mirrored finish. About 7.75 inches wide and about 1.75 inches high. Three round balls a half inch tall form the raised footing on the bottom of the bowl.The original WMF Ikora sticker is still on the bottom of the bowl, stamped with the part number: 3781. Remnants of the original price sticker (without the price) from Strawbridge and Clothier is also on the bottom. The bottom has a brushed finish.Impressed on the bottom are two (2) hallmarks, quite small. The top one is a design inside a circle with WMF Ikora underneath. The hallmark beneath that WMF inside of what looks like a square topped with a dome. Beneath that are the words Germany and below that Silverplate.This item dates from between 1880 and 1949, and is most likely from the late 1920s or early 1930s. We know the provenance of this item, which came to us from an estate. The owner travelled to England in 1930 and based on the price sticker on the bottom we know this item was purchased in England.There are some scratches and small blemishes on the interior of the dish and some edgewear to border. There is some wear to the bottom of the \"feet\" and some scratches to the bottom of the dish. We have not polished this item as it does indeed seem to be tarnish resistant
