This mold/press was purchased from Frankfurt, Germany, it is part of my collection of German, Swiss, Dutch, French and European folk art cookie molds. CONDITION OF ITEM:A RARE & BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE WOODEN SPECULAAS, SPRINGERLE, GINGERBREAD - FOLK ART PRESS - FEATURING 3 GORGEOUS, DEEP FIGURAL PRINTS.

THIS PRESS WAS PURCHASED FROM FRANKFURT, GERMANY AND IS LIKELY FROM THE EARLY 1900s. IT FEATURES 3 PRINTS, AN OLD GERMAN MANN WALKING W/ AN UMBRELLA, A HORSE AND A DOG.

IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR WITH A FEW LIGHT & DARK SPOTS ON THE FRONT, A NICK OR TWO. THE BACK SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF USAGE, SOME BLOTCHES AND MARKS.

THIS FABULOUS ANTIQUE PRESS HAS A SMOOTH FINISH PRESS AND MAKES REALLY BEAUTIFUL, CRISP PRINTS AS MENTIONED ABOVE. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND THE ACTUAL PRINTS MADE FROM THIS MOLD - AS IT IS ALL PART OF THE LISTING DESCRIPTION. IT WOULD MAKE A FINE PIECE OF EUROPEAN FOLK ART FOR DISPLAY..
